    I wonder how much more a set of Pego-Richie tubes and all the Sachs dropputs/fork crowns and frame parts cost over a regular off the shelf Columbus/Reynolds set.

    Hard to find anything that shows the cost of his tubing, but full lugset is about $200usd when you add the bits up, so not cheap, but not insaine. Then maybe $600-800usd for the tubeset as a total thumb in the air guess.

    I was being a bit facicious. He has a "cool" brand but equally he makes beautiful frames and if you look at the effort and style in his OTP lugsets you can see the ATD. Ultimately there is only one of him so he can charge pretty much what he wants, so why not charge enough to give himself a decent standard of living.
