Not keen on adjusting the bike as I do ride it in the great outdoors too. I want to be able to swap in the turbo wheel and just go without having to fiddle around with screws.

This^
Or just zip tie chunks of old brake pad to the spokes as a chain stop.

Those big standard disc wheels, shimano, 99 pounds. How shit are they?

Bog.

Based on their history with cheap boxed wheels (e.g. R500), they're likely to be reliable.

Dunno why I didn't think of that. Ta

Loosen the cable.

Haribo, monster and skunk more likely.
maybe a tesco pork pie but certainly no plate.

Anyone used the Arc22 Ultrawide rim? Seem a good lightweight option for a wide rim @ 430g? It says tubeless ready so I'm not sure if there'd be issues installing tyres using tubes

If it's a rebranded Kinlin XR-22T (seems likely given there's a 31 as well) then it's perfectly fine with clincher tyres. Beware tyre clearance though.

I've had no issues with the Arc31.

Because wide rim? Wouldn't be using more than 25's F+R
-
• #5543
Yeah, that - I reckon it adds a mm or two. My fork won't fit 28mm and I had to try a couple of 25s on this rim. Pro4 Endurance was too wide, Durano was fine.

I think its more tyre choice than rim width. My gators come up true to size on 15 and 18 internal. 25 cGp4000sii's come up as 28s on TB14's

Also GP4000sII sizing is fucking weird, it's not consistent base on mine and customer's bicycles.
-
• #5546
That makes perfect sense if you think about it.
-
• #5547
I have account for the rims width.

Could it be that supple tyres stretch more and come up wider? Pretty sure Open Corsas come up a size big as well
-
• #5549
Yup Corsa CX 25c goes 28mm

They do, my Grand Bois Hetres is 38mm at first, but after a couple of week it finally stretch to 42mm.
Even Corsa SC 25mm come up to a staggering 29mm at 100psi (guy on here run it that high).
GP 4000sii is inconsistent, a 25mm set on 13mm internal width is 26mm, on customer's bike with 13mm internal too; 28mm.
Adjust the front shifter so the chain will rub when you reach ur last gear - or other analogue audible solutions.
