  • The racing edition OEM wheels are wide, light and a (small) step up from Aksiums.

Get the one you like the most (the one with the sick paint innit).

  • Nice! That couldn't be be any more up my street. No euph. Love a mudguard me.

*thinks: crabon or ten crabon or ten crabon or ten?

  • Done it. Ordered the 10. F*ck crabon. RED WINS!

  • Good choice!

  • A nice bike!

  • Good choice, definitely looks faster!

  • Crap photos, but planning on finishing these today, found some spinergys, Easton 90 hinged stem for the bote, found a matching Stars and Stripes 2001 mtb, and yesterday a nos alter stem for the road bike, and finally a couple of old flites

  • That is fucking weaponnnnnnn

  • After some advice regarding a new road bike.

I've been after a cannondale roadie for a while now. Never had a full road bike but I know ill be doing long distances, maybe not every week, but at least once a month.

    Where should I start?!

Some guy is selling a fetching pink cannondale on the forum which has taken my fancy. Any other recommendations? If buying brand new or 2nd hand.

    Cheers in advance.

  • Get one that fits you. Second hand may be a good idea but expect to have to replace chain, cassette etc.

  • strong textI'm 6ft 1 and my track is 58cm so I'm guessing a cannondale 58cm will do the job.

Been looking at this, like I mentioned. The colour is yes, questionable but I think it's pretty cool. The spec looks pretty good too, from what I can see. It says 58cm but 56.6cm and 60cm stand over so it should be ok.http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/273217/#comment12470021

  • I'm guessing a cannondale 58cm will do the job.

Track sizing is different to road, so you might actually need a different size than that.

Go to Evans, test ride 2 or 3 similar sizes bicycles, and figure out which one feel just right.

  • Sound advice.

  • You'd probably be between 56 and 58 for Cannondale. I'm 6ft3 and can ride 60 but sizing down to 58.

  • Pretty happy so far, got xt brakes and zee drivetrain installed on the mtb, wheels and cables done on the road bike, and maguras bled and crank installed on the bote.

  • Double chunky!! You need spinergy's on all of them.

  • Pink Cannondale is the way forward.

  • Yeh. I'm having trouble getting a hold of the guy to get the specs. I have cash ready!

  • Cannondale No. 2*

Ditched the entire drive train straight away** because I'm not good at OTP:

Then had an amazing time in the forest on Sunday

    *saddle and pedals subsequently replaced
** I now have a set of deore shifters, deore chaining and long cage SLX shadow + mech for sale.

  • ...I might get it painted
