SSE's are all on sale at the moment so you can get a better deal / groupset than a CAAD12 at a similar price.
For that reason, because I'm not keen on the 12's looks, and want to try carbon (might be a little lighter and comfier?), going to try a SSE. Plus I quite like the external cable routing (some SSE like the SRAM Force 22 Racing edition have internal rear brake cable).
A friend of mine moved from a CAAD10 to a S6 and said that the geometry and racey feel is really similar, but the Evo is way way more comfortable. He rides a whole bunch, so I trust his evaluation.
