Strava

One of mine is Dave from Wales and my connection to him is that, like 5000+ other people in the country, he does Audax.

The other is Cliff from Orem, UT who is a "Plant-based triathlete on the quest to break 4 minutes in the 1 mile run, this winter!"

Anyone know how to combine several large fit files.

fitfilestool is being funny as they've max uplaod number and size.

Yeah, GPX files are huge and strava only taked 25mb.

fitfilestool keeps giving me time corrupt error.

I recorded Tour Divide as individual days, converted to GPX by uploading to strava, then downloaded the GPXs, combined manually in Textmate, then simplified the route to 200,000 points in GPSBabel. Voila. The file was way over Strava's stated 25Mb, but still under 100Mb, so uploaded fine...

I've uploaded a 45MB TCX file to Strava, but recording at one point per second, with cadence, HR and power data, that was just a 40h 600km ride. No chance it'll do the same for TCR.

If you're a premium Strava member then try opening a ticket with them, they might allow you to email it to them (zipped) and for them to import it manually. Maybe.

It's annoyingly there's no GPX/TCX to FIT file converter. So annoying I've been tempted to write one, but not annoyed enough to actually get around to doing it.

One of your files had invalid dates in it (4.fit) and so that needed to be fixed using the "Corrupt Time Fixer" tool first. I then combined them using the "File Combiner" tool.

Those tools had a 5MB individual input file limit on them, which made it a bit tricky as your files were bumping up against those limits, but I found a way to get it through.

I contacted the owner of that page and he's bumped the individual file limit up to 20MB, so that should make it easier for people in the future.

Would be nice to be able to commute on the bike! Average ride distance of 37km is popular. That's what my average was too (2015 YTD).
