I didn't really have access to the internet whilst I was away but managed to go Drygate, Inn Deep, West's brewery bar, and a load of other places. I also hammered Aldi, where they have all the Williams Bros beers for £1.50 a throw! Incredible stuff.

Had another couple of French DIPAs tonight - Nice to Meet You and something else. Brooklyn Summer Ale was like water afterwards.

5 from Brightside at beer fest after work.
3 good, one ok (Odin), one had aromas of well used chem loo (Kiwi amber).
Topaz was nicest, hoppy.

Had some beartown bluebeary, well tasty but reminded me of the last time it was on and I drank it with my now, very dead friend. She was great.

Spent the weekend in Amsterdam drinking to the point of hating it.. The guys at Brouwerij 't IJ really know what they are doing, loved their IPA and various Zatte, Natte..
Has anyone seen them anywhere in London?

@giofox88 I saw their Indian Red Ale in Wetherspoons for like £2.20 a pint not long ago.

Their brewery tour was probably the most entertaining one I've ever been on (the guide was shitfaced at 2pm)
The collaboration is an American Wheat Ale

I'm guessing there's some type of distributor bringing brouwerij't ij into the country as they're permanently available in a shop in my hometown, although he manages to get his hands on some pretty rare stuff (westvleteren is usually in stock). Not sure that I've spotted them in any of the London bottle shops though

Went looking for something different but lbs dropped two new IPA's on me. Alameda Yellow Wolf is an 8.2 but not too boozy in the mouth. T'other one is still in my bag so will mention another night.
