  • Thanks for this, picked up some shorts and a breathable t-shirt thing at bargain prices.

Can someone explain to me why people who don't race/seemingly have any plans to are buying this data print skinsuit? Am I missing something?

  • commuting is srsbzness

  • It's a bit of a daft product really, anyone who races should be wearing club/team kit. Perhaps an argument for training in it. I'd probably buy one if it wasn't so fucking ugly.

  • @Fox these 'aero'suits are some of the most comfortable cycling kits. This is why they are used for things like the TransCon race. They are also quicker to dress in and cheap.

    They are the future. Probably.

  • Stop the planet, I want to get off.

  • Jump off whilst keeping momentum. You love that shit.

  • Can anyone tell me when the new winter jersey will be out?

  • it's a bit of a daft product really

I'll remind you of this in 3 years time when you no longer own any jerseys or bibs... maybe

anyone who races should be wearing club/team kit.

Not if I'm just going out solo for 90mins 'training' AKA riding my bike.

I've seen some loners using them for 24hr TTs and such like – people without clubs I guess (or in clubs without suits).

  • Why not regular jersey and shorts? The only situation I think I could justify one for myself is training outdoors on the TT bike, but that rarely happens.

Don't get me wrong, I love the concept it's just the connotations of it. Then again, I saw a guy on a hybrid wearing t shirt, shorts and an Evade today so maybe you're right and these things will become commonplace.

  • I regularly see a woman cycling here in normal clothes, on a sit up and beg bike with a basket and one of those Kask aero lids with a visor.

  • Why not regular jersey and shorts?

Yeah. They work too. But if you fit these then doing away with the straps and some doubling up of fabric is nice, plus...

They are also quicker to dress in and cheap.

  • To be fair, I don't really buy much in the way of cycling kit. My best pair of bibs is a 2yr old pair of Castelli.

  • Can anyone tell me when the new winter jersey will be out?

Most likely just before winter starts. Hope this helps.

  • Coupon code for Ribble "WIN15" gives you 15% off 2016 castelli. Not so pricey gabba

  • My tri suits are comfy. I bet the aero suit is even more so.

But doesn't look like Nordic training gear to me.

The winter castelli onsie appeals. Full body gabba. Yes please. It'd never fit me though.

  • Not really. Can you be more specific?

  • CRC has long sleeve 2015 Gabba for £126 if you use a BC discount code. Cheapest I could find anywhere.

  • I've seen that lady. Casco TT helmet with baby blue Pashley and basket? Bizarre.

  • That's the one.

  • The onesie is cheaper than bibs and a jersey.

Why do people ride race bikes when they are not racing?

  • What bike do you have again?

  • Onesie?
