  • Loves Assos, slates Rapha, sees sale, tries Rapha in Condor...

  • Eh?

  • Full white kit including shoes.
Base layer wise, I usually only need a summer short sleeve stretched over blubber.

My bike is fucked, service it or by a new one?

  • I emailed price match request to Rapha about Classic bib shorts from Condor for £96. Rapha said No, now I can not find them on Condor website. Looks like instore only? Cheeky Rapha.

    Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately, we cannot price match articles from third party retailers. However, you could return the shorts to Condor and place an online order with us if the item is on sale and, therefore, cheaper.

Please get back to me if you have further questions and I'll be happy to help.

  • Yeah, no reason they should PM Conder. Other option:

    Free postage.

I expect they have sold them all. I think they only had a few pairs when I was in there on Saturday. Loads of those red / grey / white club jerseys and gilets though.

  • Extra 10% off sale prices and free shipping with SALE10
Might actually be worth getting some socks..

  • Cheers, finally picked up some socks.

  • I got an e-mail offering free delivery this morning, but nothing about an extra 10% off :(

  • what's the code for free delivery?

I was going to treat myself to a new merino hat but then balked at the fiver postage.

I don't need the embossed black envelope ok?!

  • Sale10 code gives free delivery and 10% off sale prices

  • Might rebuy an order I just received to get the 10% difference back via refund

  • Woot. Thanks. Cosy new autumn friendly hat en route :)

  • Are the jeans worth it? Better than Swrve?

  • They're nice, comfy, but I wore through the crotch pretty fast commuting on them and they're hot as all hell. To be fair, they repaired the tear pretty quickly and very well, so if they fit you well then I'd buy them.

  • I've owned my pair of the jeans for +2years and they're still solid. Mind you I don't commute or ride a bike with them. They've worn in quite well, and still looks very presentable. Would recommend especially at current price + 10% off..

  • (IMO of course) Didn't like the Rapha jeans. Tried on and returned. They need to lose the rubber inside the waist band. Swrve were durable but leaked dye in the wash and rain. Just got some Muxu's which are very comfy. Something like £70 with discount on Always Riding. Will see how long they last on the bike and if they hold their colour.

  • @amey Thanks for the link. Picked up the classic wind jacket on my lunch hour. Let's see how that holds up to commuting.

  • it is fucking amazing; got soaked on a ride yesterday and the jacket kept me warm while the downpour (although not "waterproof") and when the rain stopped; the latter I found very crucial. And its very packable.

  • I slightly regret not getting the green ..

  • Pack ability was a major win.

They only had green left in XL - what colour did you get?

  • boring grey

  • keep getting tempted by the racecape, how does it fit? The pro team jacket is the tightest fitting bit of kit I own so hoping the race cape is less tight to wear over said jacket.
