I question that.
Plastic piles are far higher than they've been. Fish stocks are diminishing.
I agree there are many reasons to be happy, vaccinations against hpv, no more smallpox, increased understanding of fertility.
There are also many reasonsto be unhappy, polio npot being eradicated by vaccine programs due to war and propaganda, famine, bullies, poor sexual health in developed nations.
I disagree with your point it is only getting better. I question your point about whether there has been a better time to live. Perhaps it is only awareness, perhaps it is only the fact I am one of the incredibly lucky people on the planet to be earning more than $1 a day that allows me to be aware of the state of the world.
