6 weeks eh? Ok, I shall intern them for 6-8 weeks when I get back from Malta.

If they don't respond to that I'll glue their feet to the robot vacuum cleaner.

I was going to suggest this too, but for at least 12 weeks minimum. They are your cats ffs. Okay, they are cats that from time to time allow you the privilege of their company, but you need to lay down the law.
