I would be happy to take a hammer and smash the shit out of my oneplus one if it wasn't paid for by my dear mother. Apart from the screen sometimes unresponsive, it also turns itself off and the only way to turn it back on seems to be plug the phone to the charger and hold down the on/off button and pray. This happens even when the battery is fully charged. Done software reset and on latest etc. I was going to open another ticket and get them to take a look, but oh man, as simple as trying to get them to send me a replacement sum tray took half a dozen emails exchanges and appreatly it'll take up to a month for that to arrive... imagine if I had to send my phone in for them to inspect?
You buy them cheap, you buy them twice is my conclusion of my oneplus experience.
Do you think the issues you're having are hardware or software? With the exception of the sim tray, obviously. Have you tried the cyanogenmod nightlies? I've been running them on my OPO for ages and frankly I've got no complaints, no desire to upgrade to anything else. It's running fine.
I think it's more likely hardware, I have read some comments etc online and it's actually not an uncommon issue. Oneplus official response (yeah right) is a dead battery. But in my case, I don't have to charge the phone up again before it'd turn back on, it's a simple case of plugging it in...
