Any updates on 'our' riders? The site doesn't seem to have updated since Longandwinding's post above.

@hippy tweeted a couple of hour ago in response to an exhortation to keep on pedalling:

Samuli from Helsinki(B123) finished in 58hrs 29min riding a steamroller.

Has @hippy finished in 42.26?? If so there's a good chance he's 'won'! (Audax,etc...)

No, first finisher was a German guy (see the posts at the top of the page)

John Barkman was the first AUK member to finish in ~48 hours, broken the AUK record for PBP too I think...

But isn't it a staggered start? First home might not mean the best time. I'm probably missing something - I just want @hippy to demolish everyone!

Well under 70 hours without a doubt. He's on 1165km and 67 hours.
