    Pompino aren't the toughest of frame you can get, the chainstay for instance are susceptible to cracking.

    Structurally wise, shouldn't be a problem cutting it, but with the Pompino I would advise against it.

    I'm not arguing against your proposition that chopping bits out of a frame which is already known to be weak in that area is a bad idea, just that your suggestion that the price has anything to do with the question seems spurious.

    Only kidding, probably won't cut it out. Not till October at least.
