    I absolutely understand that training is crucial and I've nearly doubled my mileage this summer and will continue through winter (I have a mudguard friendly steel beast too).

    I was wondering about Wheelsmith 38mm carbon - look pretty good. Would buying from China be a cheaper way to do it and ensure the same quality? Def want to avoid any delamination fun, particularly in the mountains :)

    Or for lightweight alloy I was thinking Ryde Pulse sprint to some novatec hub...

    Ensure quality? Not so much, they dont have a name to protect or the means. At least if you boil zipps down hardknott zipp will apologise and send you new ones (probably).

  • I've been enjoying the Ryde pulse sprints on DT240s with cx rays. Dunno what they weigh, but they're light, wide, and plenty stiff enough.
