Won't it be corrupted stretching over your carcass?

No baselayer?
I'm being slowly converted but the base layer and socks.... and a musette....
I've seen a couple of Data kits IRL and they look very good.

Did lol.

Wore the merino mesh base layer today, quite impressed with it for days which start out chilly but then get quite warm (under my jersey, along with bibs).

Bought the mesh base layer today - I look so sexy in it, might just wear to chill round the house.

Post ride, wandering around the house in bibshorts and mesh baselayer was met with much hilarity by the other half. Really useful garment but not exactly too attractive.

You've not really sold them to me!
Not normally a buyer of second hand underwear, but out of interest what size are they?
-
• #21911
2nd hand pants. A new low for LFGSS

With free onion included?

• #21913
Do the sale prices apply in store also or just on-line?
-
• #21914
In store too.

Nice one - thanks.

@hugo7 If @Rusty_Nail tries them and doesn't get on with them then I might be interested in them third hand.
-
• #21917
No problem with that, I'll be sure to test them out on a nice long sweaty ride to see how I get on with them
-
• #21918
umm... well this is awkward. I was joking.
But as I could do with a score and you seem to be interested, I'll role with it.
I think they are M but might be a L (I'm 33"). If you definitely want them I will check.

• #21919
They'd be a bit big on me, if @Rusty_Nail were to sell them on to me, but I am prepared to have the waistband taken in. Still provisional second dibs.

• #21920
You don't want slightly big pants. I got some in an old sample sale and the pad moves around like anything. Chafetastic.
-
• #21921
Nah you're alright, cheers for the offer but as much as I like a bargain I have to draw the line somewhere!

My original point was they're a pointless item. There is no time when you need or want to wear them. A search through the rest of the thread says the same.
If you're just generally riding / commuting then they're impractical because walking around feels (I imagine) like you're wearing a full nappy... So if you're at work/pub you have to change them. In which case why not normal underwear?
They're not as good as bibs, so on a longer ride why not bibs?
Does that make sense.
£15?

Sorry if this is off-topic, but there seemed to be some Gabba discussion upthread. SS Gabba 2 in black, all sizes, at alwaysriding.co.uk £82.49 with the code RIDE20.
On another matter, I bought one and a set of Nanoflex armwarmers to go with, both size small. The jersey fits fine with room for a baselayer, but the armwarmers seem very tight on my skinny arms. Does anyone wear a Gabba with a size bigger armwarmers?

No deal!
Cheers though, I was questioning whether I'd actually wear them.
A full set, Jersey socks sleeves and cap (though the bottles had sold out)
