Yeah at least we can walk down the road to borrow a friends shower and they left the toilet working so we don't have to poo in a carrier bag and sling it into next doors garden (again)

I do that as standard, even with a working toilet.

Movers were due at 09:30 this morning but didn't show. Messed up their bookings so sent another firm, who showed up at 3 but were actually pretty cool. Fit all of our stuff into a LWB sprinter.

Just got back to the old flat, completely knackered. Thought I'd check my bank balance for a laugh and found a 1% cash back payment from the mortgage lender. Bonus! Slightly shinier shed it is.

The concrete base will be £690

So I think we're going to be making an offer on a house this weekend.

That means putting our flat on the market. We've just had the valuer round at he reckons £425-450k. That's ~70% increase in value in less than three years. Absolutely mental.
