  • I am thinking about getting my bars painted to match the frame and forks. I kind of like the coloured stem idea, but it sometimes get a bit much, and if I want to play around with stems this might be useless. So maybe colored bars are better...

    I am afraid of the bars slipping though (as I am also considering using Thomson X2 stem). Solution might be to tape around the part of the bars where the stem sits (the white part on 3T bars), clear coat it and, while wet, sprinkle it with glitter or sand or whatever to make a non slip surface.

    Result could be lie this?

    If the paint and lacquer isn't the exact same, you are looking for horror
