  • I have a stomach bug and although I feel like crap and can only eat toast I am secretly hoping that this will do all the boring dieting stuff for me. Otherwise I should probably download that bloody app again and live with the constant guilt and shame that all the things I like to eat are sugar laden calorie bombs.

  • 77.1 this morning, I've updated MyFatnessPal and input my target, 5lbs/2.2kg to lose seems fairly manageable.

    My only real remaining vice is Musli as supper. Back in the day I had proper vices. Now it's Musli. FML etc.

  • Whereas I, on the other hand, seem to eat around 4,000 calories daily. Cutting down on that means missing out tasty, tasty food so this may be difficult.

    out of interest, what do you mean when you say this. I hit 4.4 watt/k.g for 25 mins on my last watt bike session - I am imaging you mean for longer, but are you meaning for the whole of a 4 hour training ride.

    I'm 77kg, and have an Ftp of 280w. So looking for 300w/75kg.
    Should be easily doable.

    I can currently hold 4w/kg for 15mins.

    So close.

  • Ive upped training load. So need plenty of nourishment. I have been more selective in my diet. But I guess I need to be even more selective.

  • Started the hipster paleo thing a month or so ago, and whilst not too strict with it (its pretty tough to eat for endurance ) i am noticing a huge amount of changes to my composition. Whilst not even remotely interested in weight loss, the huge reduction in refined foods and increased consumption of whole and close-to-raw foods has naturally caused a drop in fat%. My sleep appears to be amazingly good quality too. Not for everyone, but the whole 'eat natural' should be the foundation for most nutrition conscious shape-shifters.
