I'm another GP4000s commuter. 2500 miles on mine since spring, and the rear is just beginning to square off. I've had one puncture in that time. I'd say that as a summer commuting tyre, they're fantastic. Just a shame that they're so expensive (though I bought my commuting pair off here, barely used, for £20 the pair, which I can't complain about)
I'd say the majority of other bikes that I see on the South West London commuting route are shod with them.
