Any experienced tub gluers know if this seems like a reasonable base layer to glue onto? Its pretty thick and stuck on so I dont really want to spend a week getting all the old glue off.. the only thing is there are a few bits where there is very little glue residue left and its not even all the way round really. I wouldnt say the glue was rock hard solid, its hard but still slightly tacky and according to the seller it was well looked after so tempted to just glue over it..
Best recommendations for removing old stubborn glue using very non toxic stuff as the alu rim edge is bonded to carbon kevlar?
Also anyone have a nice stash of old school tubs lying around?
