You got those modern 11 speed Shimano drivetrain, front dérailleur need more tension than you think, it should feel quite tight when you flick it.
FYI the cable doesn't stretch, it's the housing that compressed, new housing need bedding in so it'll shift properly.
We just tell customer it stretch because it's a darn sight easier to explain than telling them about how the housing compress under load.
Follow other advice on tightening the cable tension and you'll be fine.

Yep, the Zero 3. Some time spent with the barrel adjuster this morning seems to have solved the issue :)
