I agree but I also think that a I should choose a chain well suited for what its going to be used for, in this case just track training. If its strong and can cope with welsh weather then its good enough for me, and the Keirin tracks too. I personally admire the NJS regulations, i think it has managed to preserve and promote a fantastic form of cycling in Japan and around the world; 'If it ain't broke don't fix it'.
