Well thats my something learned for today. I like the look of the KMC but i've had Izumi's before and they perform well for a good price.

There's nothing wrong with Izumi if you ignore the progress other bicycle chain manufacturers have made since 1970 :-) In some ways, NJS rules which were supposed to protect Japanese manufacturers have actually trapped them in the past. If DID/HKK/Izumi had been as stagnant in their motorcycle business as they are in bicycles, they'd all be out of business by now. Even Shimano buy most of their chains from KMC.

That's not a track chain, it's for use with the Nexus hub on your shopping bike.
Sarah Storey failed to take the hour record with that chain, Alex Dowsett succeeded with the KMC :-)
