Downloaded this. Off to a great atmospheric start. Such detail.
Also picked up Destiny cheap at Game. It's a bot like Halo especially the enemy AI. Fun so far

some of the contextual racist stuff in BS:I is a bit... strong.

Fired up an Amiga emulator on my mac last night and indulged in some top nostalgic action playing some Rick Dangerous, Shadow of the Beast, Super Off Road... I'd forgotten how cool some of those Paradox cheat intros were.

oh i get that it suits the narrative. institutional racism is a topic often sidestepped by tv games and the developers should be applauded for attempting to do address it. I suspect this game drew more criticism from fuckwitted neoliberal, ayn rand quoting fuckwits which this game is aimed squarely at taking down.

You're absolutely right, they even go as far to says that the games represent the view of the people who make it.

I guess that when they felt really uncomfortable with the blatant racism probably have not realised just how much of an impact it have in the past, and especially nowadays.

Wolfenstein: New Order. Greatly enjoyed, fun singleplayer romp. Falls apart a bit towards the end, but still gearing up for second/alternate play through. DLC to follow...

(And with xboxone/win 10 streaming I can now shoot nazis while I'm supposed to be working)

Yeah it drags on a bit, can get a bit samey but still definitely one of the best new FPS's I've played in years.

A lot of the critisism of BS:I is that it doesn't go far enough. It says "look, these guys are awful racists" yet isn't even as bad as it actually was in real life.

that's not the half of it. space nazis are even worse.

@sumo I actually smiled at some of the gameplay moments. Genuinely entertaining, and well fleshed out characters. Refreshing. But the rollercoaster plot slowed as the nazi robots got bigger and more spongey.

Enough of that, let's talk about the amazing Quantum's Breaks.

Good shout, gonna download it on my shiny new computer, it been awesome playing at 3000x1800 on a 13" screen, ALL THE DETAILS.

Finished Metro: Last Light, it was pretty awesome and a lots more fun than the original, bit annoying as I got the bad ending, probably shouldn't have killed enemies in sneak mode...
