I see it now, though if its gonna be built in brooklyn I doubt they would sell it for cheap with that fork and now they can put a lot of hipster tax on. how much were the V1s and V2s at initial release?
-
• #3129
Sure they were like $700 dollars for V1's.
-
• #3130
yeah downtube clearance seems less on the v3. but yes a2c on that fork seems shorter so that could explain that
-
• #3131
Cheers mate. 23c front and rear. Front is a Panasonic Panaracer so quite domed and sits higher

• #3132
That was back in2007.
-
• #3133
Yeah, even at the time I thought it was a lot but now it looks so cheap.
Fuck I've had mine for so so long.

So much fun being out on this again! There's a reason it's the only bike I've never sold.

Every colour of the rainbow. YES

so, got news today about the V3. $1400 for the frameset + $25 for brake studs.
OUCH
-
• #3143
that seems steep but it's the RRP on a new MASH and plenty of people buy them
-
• #3144
stupid people need stupid prices
-
• #3145
Faaaaark... Plus taxes etc. doubt that'll devaluate the v1/2 much!
-
• #3146
Thats reaaaaaally bad news for me. Always wanted one, but can't/don't want to pay that much for a frameset.
-
• #3147
Lot more than I thought they would be. Can justify another one right now! Probs just buy another V1 would be miles cheaper!
-
• #3148
Did they give you any information about the sizes they are making?
-
• #3149
yes, they'll build a batch of medium, then large then small
-
• #3150
Did they say when they'd be ready?
It is when it's billed as a track bike.
