Have they only got half a dead body working in customer support?

Can't speak for international, but I've been with Three a few years now. Great speeds on 4G and 3G but patchy coverage, even in London. I get no signal in my house in London, called them and they gave me a signal booster to hook up to broadband.
If you can live with occasionally having no signal (for now, anyway - presumably they'll be jumping on o2's 2G and 3G network soon as well?) then you can't really beat them for price or performance.

There "use your phone as if you were in Britain" while abroad is fantastic in my opinion. Select countries but if you unlimited data then using that while on holiday is awesome.

Cheers, it's looking like that's where I'll be heading. It says no tethering whilst abroad, is that actually enforced (just web browsing rather than big downloads)?

Oh dear... When my N5 shat itself I got through to Google in about two minutes... Little bit slow getting a new handset to me because of my change of address but couldn't be happier now... The new N5 is great...

their live chat is an automatic system that cuts you off after you have been connected and then asks you fo feedback, you can also have the 'transcript' sent over to your email if you wish. I finally picked up the phone today and hve experiened the worst customer service ever. OnePlus, your phones might be cheap and good, but your customer service sucks.

Sorry if I missed it, what's wrong with the phone?

Nothing major, the side (the sandstone material bit) of the sim tray is broken,I could buy a whole back cover which I presume will include a sim tray, for £13 or sth, but why should I? Esp I have only ever changed my sim once, so not my fault.
-
• #16086
Yeah that's a shame. You can pick up the SIM trays for about £4 on ebay from china or about £6 from the UK, if you just want to get it sorted...

Oh I didn't know that, well they have opened a ticket now, so will give them a couple of days see if they respond 1st.

I got really annoyed that I didn't realise the £220ish price for the Moto X was only for a limited time. Alls well though the new Moto X Play looks good and is apparently going to be around the £260ish mark anyway

So my Nexus 5 just died on me... In the car, using Waze, plugged to charger, went off and would not power on anymore. No charge icon, nothing... Tried charging it for some time, vol up+down+power, basically everything I know. Just a black brick. Any idea?

Just has something similar. A forum, went to the next page of posts, similar message popped up (plus a pop up), and couldn't use the back button. Craziest thing is it somehow got chrome to download an apk. Sketchy as fuck.

Called this morning, new Nexus 5 already shipped. Supposed to be free, but I had to authorize a full-price paiement. Hopefully the warranty check won't mind the replacement screen (done in a shop) and battery (home made) in the broken one... I'd rather not pay 400€ for a two-year old phone.
-
• #16095
They did the auth payment with mine too and wiped it when parcelfarce lost the returned phone.

there is no panorama mode in the camera
There is no panorama mode in the camera on mine either, OPO with Cyanogenmod 12. Think you'll need a different app.

Can anyone PM me a oneplus two invite? Please? Nexus 5 just suffered a crippling injury after 2 years. Tragic really.
-
• #16098
OnePlus Two invite.
Hi, they have not issued invites yet, they are still building the list.
I'm at about 30k position on the list, which is now 1.6M.
I'll be happy to send you an invite, when I get one.Could you please help us both by signing on here, which will get me (and you) closer to the front of the queue.
https://oneplus.net/invites?kid=HSXB2AI can do this for others too, just sign in as above, then PM me your email and I'll pass invites on as soon as I get them.

new Moto G is out (3rd gen)
So the 2nd gen should be getting cheaper.
Can you get a 16gb version of the Moto G 2nd gen in the UK? Nothing really seems to be coming up for me.

It was available on Motorola motomaker website at launch and a bit pricey, £209 for 2Gb ram/16Gb. now looks like they all gone.
8Gb Moto G £179 on Motorola own website and £139.99 + £10 top up from Three. I guess its better to wait when they be available from major retailers and amazonedit: Sorry misread that, 2nd gen right?
Why do you want to pay more for 8Gb storage if it has card slot and memory cards very cheap this days?
How do people find Three. Decent speeds/coverage?
How is the international service, particularly in the US?
