Does anyone know what the laws in the UK are regarding riding these mopeds:
I'm having a difficult time finding what laws apply. We don't have a helmet law for these mopeds (because of the three wheels) for example. Do you have to wear one in the UK? Can you follow car rules and drive everywhere but the highways? What is the moped speed limit? Are there types of roads you aren't allowed to ride on with this?

I'm taking my car to be serviced by a friend-of-a-friend on the weekend. I already told him the make and model, but he says he needs to know the VIN so he can order the right oil filter. Is that normal?
Edit - Yes. Apparently the VIN encodes all sorts of information about the vehicle, its make, model and year of production, etc.

Does anyone know what the laws in the UK are regarding riding these mopeds:
The first one which will trip you up is that you'd probably never get it registered, start here to see whether it's even possible to get a vehicle like that approved.
You would need a category A or B licence , i.e. a full car or motorcycle entitlement.
You don't have to wear a helmet to drive a tricycle.

Any suggestions for some sort of clear coat I can spray on exposed metal on a bike? Don't want to repaint the whole thing, don't really care how ratty the pain it, but do want to prevent rust from eating it up.

It is a moped with a dutch registration and license plate, combined with a dutch owner.
Is it still allowed to ride that without a helmet? (gov.uk doesn't even give me any assistance on that part)

I believe as it's a tricycle, the driver wouldn't be required to wear a helmet even if it was based

Thank you. Still trying to find the laws online.

Yes, in the UK you don't have to wear a helmet to drive a tricycle, whether it's purpose built or a converted motorcycle. You might want to wear a helmet though, as getting whacked in the face by 30mph insects isn't fun.

I seem to have scratched up my forks... Will I die if I ride them further and how painful will my death be?

What cheap techniques/products/options do I have for anonymising my aluminium Planet X London Road frame?
(Want to get rid off/conceal the decals on the seat tube primarily, but ideally also the toptube and the fork)
I'm probably just gonna go with black insulating tape, but reckon it'll get skanky pretty quick. Any other low cost options?
