If it's owt like getting a polo ball twatted at it they seem to pull through the threads of the nipple but work alright when retightened, although I've never studied this closely.
Interesting, didn't think of that. Was debating re-tightening it or just ditching the spoke and replacing it. The later being somewhat unattractive as cx-rays cost £4.50 delivered. But should my life hand in the balance then I suppose it might be worth the cost.
Does the wheel still clear the brake pads with one spoke gone? That's always my worry with low spoke count wheels, and I'd probably swap it out for peace of mind. Don't want it to go in the middle of nowhere and not be able to even roll carefully back to civilisation
