Sorry to hear about your injuries, I too came off my bike two weeks ago and fractured my hip, concentrating on walking first then hope to get back on the bike in a couple of months...
Sorry for thread derail everyone else, enjoy the ride, wish I was doing it!

Sorry to hear that and heal fast. I got hit by a caravan 4 weeks ago (fractured hip etc) and have another 6-8 weeks before properly walking again.
I did the Ride London last year - good fun but no desire to do it again. Hope you all enjoy yourselves.
