how much can you overheat and actually start to see performance losses as a result in the course of a track sprint race?
the thinking among most time trailers is that for a 25, and possibly even a 50 the aero gains of a cleaner bike are more valuable than having a bottle and drinking from it, so unless a track is cranked up to wiggo hour attempt type temperatures I cant see how you'd negatively affect your performance by being as aero as possible at the expense of heat

Good to know. I am prone to overheating so a bit of versatility is a plus.
