I had some Cromarty Ghost Town Porter last night - I think the idea of Porter is always better than the reality......

What's wrong with De Hems? I mean, I'm not fond of the space but they have a decent selection usually.
It depends how long my afternoon runs on for but if I'm still walking I may be able to pop in at night.

Because there's too many awesome stouts that often make them seem like a boring brown ale?

I'm Australian. It could be a tent with an esky and I'd be happy.

Cromarty have always been disappointing for me. Try Titanic Plum Porter - it'll blow you away.

ooh plum! where to buy? bottled?
-

Cask. I last saw it in the Bree Louise near Euston. I will buy some if I see it bottled though. Wonder how it would take carbonation.

Had this last weekend. Not usually a fan of white ale or wheat beers or flavoured beers for that matter; but this was THE SHIT. Stocked in Waitrose apparently. My new summer favourite: http://www.kodawari.cc/?en_home/products/hitachino-nest-beer.html

I had the Red Rice ale. It's delicious.

I had a bottle of that last night and wasn't impressed but it's not really a style I'm into so make of that what you will.
Mine came from Waitrose, it's also in Brewdogs.

Went to London Fields taproom last night before Inspired To Ride screening at LMNH. Nice little bar with their beers from cask or keg which was cool to try both of the same type. Think my favourite was the Hackney Hopster.

Wu Gang Drops the Pressure. Liquid Stuffing taste. Interesting.

Is that a collaboration? I only know Wu Gang Chops The Tree by Pressure Drop.

My bad, it's that one.

Your name was better though! It's a weiss beer from what I can remember.
-
• #3946
Weiss beer with foraged herbs, good with chicken apparently. We had no chicken to test this against though.
