Anyone want an arm sleeve from NoPinz? It's a large and didn't fit up my arm so I didn't use it. Otherwise I might see if they'll swap it when I cry they don't make them big enough for RealMen™

Bingo arms?

Don't see why they wouldn't. Looks like they even made a custom XXXS size for Tejvan according to his blog.

Everything I've heard about nopinz suggest that their customer service is second to none. Give them a call.

Just one? Why one arm bigger than the other?
?

;)

I thought my arms were quite skinny but I guess that's compared to my legs.

It's for holding a race number - generally only on one arm - the arm closest to the roadside.

Is there any decent test data kicking showing which 'aero' road helmets are faster?
-
• #837
Evade

I have vague memories of using two in one race but I only bought one nopinz because most only have one arm number.

Not that I've seen. Bike Radar tried but their testing wasn't too hot. Quite rider/position-dependent too.

Tour Magazine did one.
Cant seem to find it.
There is this....

From what I read Things get more interesting when you add a visor. So decide whether or not you're willing to og full top gun.

I'm just finishing off the last few aero bits for my road bike. Mainly for sleeveless mode.
Extensions and DA-Di2 TT shifters.
Veiwspeed skewers.
Tritone saddle.
60/88 mm wheelset.Thing is my bulky physique seems to only be happy With my hands raised in a 'praying-mantis' position. Hopefully thats a decent enough position.
Its epically ugly. So it must be fast no?

As Hippy mentioned:

Apparently not. Also looks appalling.
Happy to see the kask Protone tested reasonably well in that bikeradar article (whatever that's worth). Quite like mine - a lot better vented than the vertigo, light, looks nice and apparently reasonably aero.

I'd take the tip on the Evade over the BikeRadar testing.
-
• #845
@umop3pisdn You have datas?
I will still probably stick with the protone and buy a bambino for special occasions. How can it test worse than a prevail in a velodrome in that aero weenie jpg up there?^

Check the numbers
.225 vs. .235

I have a £100 Specialized voucher I need to use in Milton Keynes. I might get one. Those new Bontrager lids are meant to be pretty decent too but I've not seen formal tests.

The Ballista looks the least dorky of the bunch too (IMO)
-
• #849
Yeah, I agree, it's not as long as the Evade and looks pretty decent. Ticked a lot of other boxes in the BR test which stood out for me because I won't be racing in it, just need a new lid.

My evade is comfy and nice.
I like it. Venting isn't bad.
Aerojacket are cheaper and fit better but are heavier. My Raltech is annoying and still hasn't been ridden. PITA.
