Cheers! Don't worry, the first version is what I have planned. Trispoke is the only wheel I have spare until the other pair get trued.
This is how it will look when finished:

That looks sweet! This is set up singlespeed?
The rack not being horizontal ever so slightly irks me though :p
Matching grips would finish it perfectly.

So I took ownership of this Rad Ribble recently:
and was absolutely loving it. So much fun. But then:
Some complicated problem had meant that half of the driveside spokes had caused the rim to crack around the nipple, this was the first to fully go. Pretty dramatic.
So now I need a new wheelset. The bike'll mainly be used as a commuter/shopping bike, though may get drops and used on some longer rides at some point. The Superstar Components Pave 28 Ultra wheelset has £50 off at the minute, which makes it very affordable at £145, but I'm just wondering whether it's almost too nice for what I'll be using it for?

Superstars is pretty good for the money, the wider rims mean you can run a lower pressure and thus more forgiving in commute.

Thanks, pulled the trigger on them.

Yeah it's singlespeed, great for it's intended use of commuter and runabout.
Due to how tight everything fits it's not possible to get the rack level using the braze ons, however I would rather it was slightly off than have to run an adapter to mount it to.
Also, cork grips are comfy.

Real slow progress on this one due to a stuck seatpost which has be a bit down, but today I did work on a couple of things,
Cinelli bar & stem -
Used a donor set of modolos to get some nicer bolts, ones where the allen key insert havent begun rounding out as seems pretty common with them. Also, missing small black modolo cap thingy (that appears to serve no purpose) found and put on.

Bmxed the GT with new stem and bars. Also installed a mini rack.
This is now done. Just needs fluorescent yellow grips... And longer brake cable...

Any Raleigh Superbe owners on here ?
May well have my fixer upper project sorted with what appears to be a 1957 Superbe with rear 4spd dynohub.
Got as far as dragging it from dads shed, deciding it was maybe a 70s/80s model, knocked off some spiders and found some serial numbers (frame & Hub)
Bit of google-fu later, Sheldon Brown had one, hub's from 56 and frame is 1957, pretty complete...........and the lights and dynamo still work.
Might just start a photo heavy thread after some more research. -

Early morning success! Seatpost out after almost two months being oiled. Went with the mallet to the top and it began to move down ever so slightly, finally with the saddle re-inserted a satisfying crack as it finally turned.

And as a spot of luck finally, the seatpost is a 26,4 so I've already a Simplex Super LJ ready to go in, completing the SLJ group:

I had a bit of a spill, is this fixable? Replacement "blades" are north of a 100 dorrah, so that's not an option.
