Yeah the diameters are top and bottom. Might be best to go into wickes or bnq and get them as I'm unsure if it's 10mm x 8mm being the actual measurement or "to suit 10mm pipe and 8mm pipe" so it's a little bigger/smaller than expected so it can slot inside/around another pipe. You could just stand in the shop pushing them into the top of a bottle lol
I want to make a sort of Tiki lamp out of wine bottles a la:
...a quick look online shows the wicks seem pretty pricey.
Does anyone know how I can make or source a cheaper wick? I want at least 5m worth.

does the 10mm x 8mm / 15mm x 8mm relate to the top and bottom diameters?
