  • Yeah ive been meaning to pass it on.. living outside like a sad pet.

  • everything but that post...

  • Of course you are right, but the butt don't lie. Its like sitting on a plate of butter.

  • Got this today, bought a couple of bells and new grips, got some tyres knocking around that might fit it, found a 3m brake cable, new chain a clean and it should be a good laugh.

  • That looks like great fun, a pub bike with a spot for the DD.

  • My Gérard Souchet with Corima HR :

  • All the parts I bought arrived today and I got started with the build. Didn't have time to finish it before I had to go to work. Really loving it so far, will be running my rear trispoke until I get the lo-pro up and running again

  • Ah, you got that. Lovely stuff.

  • I am impressed with the Superstar wheel set, 1550g, 19mm internal width, normal spokes and only £200.

Add an 120mm stem, passing @Dammit's strict rule.

  • After our wheel discussion a while back, I told my mate to get a pair and he loves them too!

  • Thing is, I work in the bike trade, which mean I can get stuff for insane price but nothing come close to the Superstar, it was actually cheaper to buy it on RRP than a Mavic on trade.

  • which superstar wheels are they?

  • The Ultrawide one, gonna have to give a good play on the wheel tension (work in bike shop) but ultimately happy with it.

  • Dusted off the roadbiek to ride gears for the first time in a year...
I can see why the whole gear-fad caught on, they're quite quick when you ride down hills and stuff.
Bit worried about the frame though as it's developed a sort of cellulite (bubbly/flaky paint) which has spread like a virus from the rear triangle to the seat clamp....

  • Finished this up today. I have another set of more practical wheels but they need truing first, my mate said he'd do it for me so they'll go on in like a week or so. A few tweaks still need to be made but so it I'm loving it!

  • Looks great !

  • My first road bike

  • New mudguard day for the workhorse! (Sorry about the shitty photo again)

(PDW 40mm wide mudguards if anyone is interested)

Hopefully will be getting painners and some proper spd for the new gal (thinking XTR or even S-Track Race)

  • I'd personally get the sandpaper and rust killer out (it's steel?)

May be some damp trapped somewhere, or something else that causes the spread, but it if rots through bye bye baik :(

  • i love venoms so much

  • Lovey frame! Tig welded or just low profile fillets?

  • Rad, I'd be tempted to say time atac but I've been so disappointed with their recent pedals. Considering jumping ship to look S track pretty soon.

  • I know shimano have a great name in reliability, but I just can get my head over how they look so i'm also siding over to the s-track too.
