I think that might have happened. I was riding close to Xav at Red Hook, and thinking about my peak wattage recorded is very similar to what he said his was from the ride and a good 200w higher than my all time power PB, which was unlikely given the conditions.
Also my power dropped out once we stopped riding together. So yeah, looks like my Garmin paired with Xav's PT.
