Try rubbing cotton with nail polish remover in small doses, before the oven cleaner! It worked wonderfully for me the last time..

We're cleaning up a frame in the rat bikes thread? Whaa
But looks nice. Those Rychtarski always look awesome.

oh shiit, thats awesome. Damn, (the toptube) kinda looks kinda awesome like that acc, I say you sorta partially strip the paint to make the whole frame look like the top tube and see if it looks good like that. I dunno, i just think it looks wicked with some stencil still there
But whatever you do, moarr pics pls :)

Is the paint on the Rychtarski similar to this:
Belongs to @Crimson_Ghost

Yes it is, I'm almost done with paint removal, however clear coat is fucked and the frame have fair amount of small paint chips and some heavier paint wear and tear.
-
• #11844
strip it back to the original paint and then clear coat on top.
never paint original paint if its that sick -

thats the plan

I wanna build an appalling rat rack / lock up / homie hauler, but I don't even know which frame to start with.
Ideally, I'd want to fit a rack to the front for beers and pizza, and have some stunt pegs on the back to facilitate giving mates rides about. I'm thinking maybe a 90's rigid mountain bike?
What kind of axel would I need to fit stunt pegs, or is there a better idea to ferry my missus from bar to bar?

As long as you've got a solid axle in the back you can get 14-10mm adapters for pegs.
You may be able to find 10mm pegs though too. -

14-10 adapters are shite though. just get 10mm pegs, a lot of people run them as 10mm front hubs in BMX isnt uncommon nowadays (g-sport and other female hubs for example)

I've carried people in most of my bikes without pegs and no issues.
It's just all about to ask them if they have faith on you, and tell em to put their feet on the axle or nuts
How what?
