Should look rad, you got a thread of the build? My ideal wheels of this would be Dura Ace hubs laced to black arcs or open pros with silver spokes, I think it looks neat.

But as for the headset, that may well be the solution, will have a fiddle later to see if I've done anything wrong.

...for some colour on what is an all black bike.

For my behalf I think I'm settling with my half de-lacquer project of the PlanetX track fork, to show a little colour on the all black.

These were the last arrivals by the way:
Deda zero 1 70mm stem, Deda 10mm carbon spacer, Cinelli Duo straps, BLB toe clips and D.I.D Pro Racing NJS chain. (foot retention temporary until I can afford MKS Alpha Sport straps)

Thuekr, how to the trispok look? I was thinking about it but wasn't sure if it'd look good on this frame.

@Dave Don't have a thread, not that interested tbh. Might throw you a pic when it's built up though. I got myself a deda zero for my road bike, lovely light stem. Not sure about the stem problem myself I'm afraid

I also think I know the cause of the problem. My compression ring has been widened somehow so I think this outwards pressure on the top bearing cup is causing the problem. When I took it apart the seal had popped out and the ring was well wedged in the cup. Is this it? If so will get another compression ring tomorrow.

So my bike is finally finished and working nicely (a part from that rattly drone the chain always seems to make). But anyway, here are some quick pictures I snapped.....

Hey stern, sorry about getting back to you late, but I've got some drops on at the minute as I went on a longer ride, does look good as well, but risers are carbonnn.....

No problem, looks kinda slave with those risers! I like the fact the gatorskins almost have a gum wall effect though.

I guess it does a little, oh well the drops are on now anyway, haven't swapped back. And I know what you mean about the gators, and I agree it looks cool
