Got a feeling one of the 'big four' will lose some time today. TvG in yellow at the end, although I'd rather see Sagan.
The race is really nicely poised for the mountains. Onus on Froome's rivals to attack him.

Finish bottle?

It's actually a bloody big whistle - he's trying to attract G's attention to ask what's for tea.

Just watched the replay of yesterday and at 600m from the copter shot you can see Froome trying to put Dan Martin into the barriers as he jumped to chase Vuillermoz.

Looks like he's drinking a bottle of poppers.

Orica have just rolled round more than 3 mins slower than Bretagne Seche. Saving up their energy.
I hate to come across as a horrible perv, but I'd really like to spend three weeks going round France in a camper van with the Eurosport reporter Laura Meseguer.

OGE are in danger of missing the time cut today. 30% of the winner's time.

That's a shame, as you totally have

Do dropped riders get the same time as the rest of the team? (assuming they make the cut), or do they get their own time?

30% of the winner's time.
A winning time of 28:37 would put them out. Unlikely.

They get their own time.

Also, I can't believe that there isn't a more Aero design for the radio units? Wasn't there a design a couple of years ago putting them in the tail of the Aero helmets?

Movistar to do very well today I reckon.
-
• #1246
The units just need to be smaller, which they would be if they were designed recently. Unfortunately they are all an old (Motorola?) design.

Liking the advertising interspersed with a few minutes of cycling footage on itv4.
Not.

Any clue as to what's in Sky's finishing bottles? I'm inclined to think they're professional enough to put some stuff in it that actually works and doesn't carry long term risk.
Also, if finishing bottles could be bought from a reputable brand, would you consider buying some?
Is that the first Grand Tour stage win for SRAM wireless too?
