brilliant technical writing, in it? it goes on:
"or so you color match the rear and front wheel using your current wheels."

True, didn't notice it before but you are right. But I still have a crappy gipiemme fixed wheel set laying around that I can respoke. Just can't afford that kit due to other priorities. Thinking about selling some stuff, it might be a good solution at this moment. Front needs to be relaced with another hub as well before I can use it (is also gipiemme...).

At that price you're out of your mind if you're going to be improvising with that crap. Get a used road bike, have two bikes, be done.

2 bikes? I would have to sell some more stuff then :P
Got a nice fixed frame laying around I can build up using this stuff and have a cool 8 speed road/tt bike with freewheel for going to work with. Then I can sell my roadbike which is a bit too big, sell my beach cruiser, my mountain bike and some other bikes as well. Got too many of them anyway. Takes up too much space.
And 250 is still cheap for this combo

MashSF Pompino. People will always buy into an aesthetic.
i'd buy the work frame over a pomp just because it's not an on one and i'm not even ashamed to admit it

I'm pretty tempted to get one myself, but I want to build up something with 6spd sort of thing.
I'm getting old I kinda need my knees for skating. -

And there are 200+ pages named after a bicycle that's named after fellatio.

is that a modified Steamroller?
-
• #11797
Definitely surly track ends. steamroller welds ain't that smooth... that looks filletbrazed.
I think you can buy the "cast dropouts" though; good spot.
However, they look original to the chainstays...no idea.
can anyone ID?

Modified or crash repaired?
-
• #11799
I'm assuming crash repaired. looks like a work bike. why would you hack into an undamaged track frame?

Think thats fairly good ^
Not a huge fan of the frame but could be done well, not really rat either...
That yellow SATAN bike is it running a 66.6 GI :)
