I did spot the 'joke' but I still don't quite know the details.
Is S O Connor a real account? If so, did she just retweet the robot thing for the lols or did she not realise and Luci retweeted it for the lols. Or is it a fake account just created to retweet the story, in which case why not use Sara Connor name. I dunno. Oh and the robot thing was real though so basically I didn't know who was playing the joke.
