Forging is mahoosively difficult due to fecking massive tonnage required to do it properly so no UK made hub is forged before machining.
O rly? I wonder where Hope got these forged pre-machined billets from.

Forging is mahoosively difficult due to fecking massive tonnage required to do it properly so no UK made hub is forged before machining. Shimano cold forge their stuff which is even more difficult but gives the best results.
Only Shimano and Praxis forge chainrings out of any manufacturer in the world.
