Pretty epic. Apart from malfunctions there's no power drop from altitude. I wonder how long before ICE cars are irrelevant at Pikes Peak.
Also, that road is still scary, even being paved.
I was wondering about power density - clearly it's not an issue for them having enough energy on board for 1,300 bhp/2,200Nm of torque for ~8 minutes, which as you say (barring malfunctions) is undiminished by the thinning atmosphere.
An electric air-racer would be cool.
