That's true and if you're buying a SIII as a classic you really want the original engine, not a TDi.
Those are all good points. I wouldn't want a 110 or a 130 because parking. V8 cos thirsty.

TD5 is a nice engine and not shocking for longer drives , the early ones 1999 onwards are still good and not madly expensive compared to the recent TDCI variations
