Seems very unlikely, 30mm axles are definitely the way forward, BB86 is utterly pointless.
Shimano seemed to be insistent on staying with 24mm axles, so can't see BB86 going away anytime soon (neither the Trek propriety press fit BB).

BB86 frames could fuck off today without inconveniencing anybody who wants to keep using 24mm axles, HT2 and GXP will happily sit inside BB30, BB30A, BBRight and 386EVO shells with appropriate adaptors.

Sadly, the lack of any common sense in the frame design world means that many so-called BB30 cranks are really BB386EVO plus a bunch of spacers, wasting the real benefit of a BB30 shell.
