Was on for a 1:53 which is still shit
Compared with what? You've only done a 55 for 25 miles, so anything under 1:55 for 50 would be acceptable.
Don't even know if I'll get a time or a DNF
It's a DNF if you didn't traverse every part of the course, so if you go off course you must retrace to the point of departure and then continue on course from there.

25 PB is 54:18 from last year. 55 was on a shit day. I know what I could have done today but I didn't do it.
I didn't technically return to point I left the course, rejoined about 50 yards from it. TK did ask if I'd done the whole 50 miles though, so maybe she's given me a time. There was a bit of disruption with the results and I haven't seen a photo of the board yet so guess I'll wait for full results.

In that case, tell the timekeeper/event secretary that you DNFed.

I know what I could have done today
Coulda, shoulda, woulda...
If any of us actually knew what we could do on a particular course and day, we wouldn't have to get out of bed and actually do it.

Anyone here riding Nat25? I've just seen it's E15 course. My training roads. It'll be a great race, very fun spoco course.

Are you considering gender reassignment? Women on the E course, men on the H25/21

57x13
Cliff Voller was on 55/13 yesterday, I was on 55/16. He beat me by 2s, proving once and for all that you have to be on the 13 to win :-)

I'll be racing, as it's on my training roads.

East of Reading. Hilly Chilterns to the North, flat bits to the east and south.

Why are men/ women on different course. How silly!

Why are men/ women on different course
Why not? Makes it easier to find somebody to promote it if they don't have to find a course which can accommodate 300 riders.

Makes sense I guess. Just confused me.
Shame though as that's a good course.

Ah, that explains it.

I'm guessing as I have never done a 25 I don't have a hope of getting a ride at the national....?
Won't have done my first one till after the closing date...

Essentially no chance, but if you've got nothing better to do that weekend you might as well take a punt, just in case they don't get a full field

squeeze in one 25 beforehand? I'm riding a reasonably quick course in wales next weekend in the hope of putting in a half decent time and then going to enter the national.
