  • Thanks for the link - I've actually already messaged them asking if it's suitable for white leather and was just awaiting a reply!

I can go straight to BIN now. Cheers!

  • Nice, but a bit pervy...

  • Interesting, what makes you say that?

I'm all signed up to do the prudential 100 in August with a target time of 8hr 30, I thought padding may offer some relief? Or are the Rapha ones just a bit crap? (I don't do lycra/bibs so will be in my randonnee shorts)

  • ^^ @colin122 - You'd really find it more pleasant in bibs.

  • Got some earlier, not sure my gloves need it yet so will be a while before can comment proper...

  • Any publicity is good...oh wait

  • Something something France Jersey something Friday

  • Nice, but a bit pervy...

If he's wearing a white Rapha shirt, and what looks like the Randonnée shorts, he really is a full kit wanker it seems!

  • Next question: padder merino boxers, vulpine or rapha (they are the same price)?

These are always rubbish, and after 8 hours of a summer sportif will be like wearing a wet nappy.

The regular Rapha merino boxers are lovely, for between bike rides.

  • It's up!!

  • lmao, is that not true of any underwear?! I assumed (or foolishly hoped) the merino would help wick the sweat away and the padding would be like sitting on a cloud. Sounds like it's a resounding no though so I'll save my 45 quid!

  • Seriously: get bibs, wear bibs, fly.

8.5 hours in the saddle is no joke. Bibs will help a lot.

  • Is anyone willing to part with an old lightweight jersey in medium? I'm not sure about the current colourways

  • yep, agree with the others on the padded boxers, save your money and get some of their bibs. 45 quid off their PT or Classics would seem like a bargain after buying the padded boxers.

The standard boxers are a delight off bike, but the padded feel like they belong in a trans-incontinence range.

  • First ride in a PT jersey I got on here a while back. Very nice* in 25c sun today. Was warm but not over heating despite it being black. I can see the appeal of the PT stuff now. #awaitsnextsale

    *Not that pricey either.

  • Ian Stannard was at the Manchester Cycle Club today for the Velochef (Henrik Orre the Team Sky chef's cookbook) launch. People got excited.

  • I was lucky enough to have lunch with him at the Tempest Festival, top guy.

  • Have a 20% off code, first person who asks here gets it, don't PM.

    It must be used today.

  • I'll have it :)

    Cheers

  • Off to the Pyrenees soon, as per recent discussions do I need PT Climbers jersey in Coral and matching socks?

  • It certainly wouldn't hurt.

  • I've almost perfected the thundercunt look anyway
