I've figured out the most of it, thank you.
I'd just like to know if the belt compatible frame is any good and long-lasting and if there are more users. -

Hi guys!
Has anyone gotten a more classic/80's track frame from Mielec? I mean less LOW/Mash looking one, thinner tubes, 1" headset... I can't seem to find lots of photos in the thread!
Care to share if you did?

I think you should be looking for a steel frame builder.

Not sure if Mielec does 1" headtubes
-
• #4915
he will, although i'm pretty sure it's just a standard HT with a smaller ID

a long project finally finished - and that´s the outcome. so far everythin seems okay - need to do some more km for a conclusion.
(comments on angles & chain tension will be ignored :D )

this,
cheapest frameSET from mr orlowski (4130 lugged) sets you back 400e + shipping. Considering the fact that you have to buy a fork separately with mielec they are not even that cheap.
and orlowski is miles more legit

So you wanted an 1'' headtube but you are still using an ahead headset. Why?

@TheFinalHour
It's still in my garage waiting for better days. I'd need about 1000 Euro to build it up the way I want so it's not happening yet. I have the carbon WCS fork, I was thinking Nuvinci, belt drive, second hand WCS carbon kit, hydraulic disc. Maybe when I finish my upcoming road build I will decide to blow my scholarship on this as a graduation gift to myself. -

Like it! But did he use a smaller headtube or did he use spacers to adjust the difference in diameter?
And also why aren't you using a quill stem? -

Been off the bike for a few years but recently decided to get back into it. Had this Mielec frame sitting about which was purchased and never really built and ridden properly. It was powdercoated pink when purchased as it wasn't going to be built for me. But I've painted it flat black and painted the 3T Funda pro forks to match. Picked up a Miche crankset, new saddle and Izumi chain. Already had all the other bits required it just needed a bit of a freshen up. Quite happy with it.
everytime i see this it makes me want one even more, therefor i'm now also looking for one..
