Don't book any surveys until the mortgage company have done their thing and confirmed they will lend on that property (they will book their own survey).
Get your IFA on the case to chase up the mortgage company.
Your solicitor needs to be instructed so they can KYC/AML check you but after that they will do fuck all until they receive the sellers pack from the vendor solicitors and get the mortgage offer from your lender.

Turns out i was the highest bidder... Goddamn real Estate agents. Fucking hell...
Now initial survey right? And i need a solicitor?
