Yes, but thankfully no issues with mine to date. I think I last changed battery a few months ago and have only been through a few of sets of batteries in 18months.
Frustratingly the only time that they have ever had issues was during my aerocoach session when I needed accurate power measurement, and every minute sat fiddling with my PM was ££££ down the drain. However that was a pairing issue, not batteries.

Are there any Garmin Vector users on here? I'm getting really disappointing battery times. Like, one five hour ride on fresh batteries and I get a "low battery" warning.
